Coaching
Hi there - Brian here
!
Did you know that we reserve two half-hour time slots for you to get one-on-one coaching to move your leadership in community to the next level? It’s called “Coaching Outreach”.
The best part? There is no cost to you!
Yes, it’s true - this is great value!
Why do we do this? To further our own community outreach, particularly for the benefit of those who might not otherwise be able to receive one-on-one leadership coaching.
Any CIC member can book a coaching session with us during an available timeslot marked “Coaching Outreach” in the Community Calendar at no cost to you (with the exception of any long distance phone charges if applicable). Be careful to notice that the timeslot you’re interested in is still marked “Available”.
The rules are simple:
- Sessions begin and end promptly at the designated times;
- The focus of the session is up to you, and must be related to an issue you are facing surrounding leading or connecting a community that you belong to or wish to form;
- Maximum one session per person per month;
- You agree to be added to our distribution for special events and offerings (if you haven’t already added yourself). You can remove yourself at any time.
What sort of issues might you want to be coached on? Here are some possible examples:
- “I’m tired of living a life that is mainly just about me. I want to give back “to the community” but don’t know what that might look like. I need help to really get clear about what my gift to community could be.”
- “I’ve been involved in a wonderful project involving our local schools over the last few years and have recently retired. With lots of time on my hands now, how can I really ramp up my leadership so that I create a significant legacy for current and future generations of kids in our community while adding meaningful purpose to my own life?”
- “I’m currently leading a community that has many seniors that are having a hard time dealing with change. Change is badly needed for the health of the community and I’m really frustrated with how to effectively guide the group.”
- “I’m just starting out in my career. While I really want to focus on getting ahead professionally, I’ve also got a really cool idea for solving a big problem in my neighbourhood. How can I pursue both successfully?”
- “I’m working towards realizing a dream I’ve had for many years about bringing together two communities of people that could help each other and mutually enhance each others’ lives. I’ve got a small team together and we’re making headway in making my dream a reality, but sometimes it feels overwhelming when I think about what needs to be done. How can I effectively deal with it all?
So have a look at the Coaching Outreach timeslots marked “Available” in the Community Calendar (Tip: look at the Agenda tab), complete the form below and then click the Submit button. We will then confirm with you via email the timeslot you requested as well as the dial-in information for the call.
As head coach, I also reserve a block of time each week for regular ongoing coaching clients. If you are interested, simply specify “Please contact me regarding ongoing coaching” in the Comments field of the form above, and I will personally get in touch with you as soon as possible to discuss how we might work together.
That’s it - now all you need to do is start deciding how you want to spend your time with me!
Consistent with founding this site, my passion is helping socially-conscious “everyday” leaders like you to create a clear and compelling vision for the change you are being called to in the world, and then to help you courageously and boldly bring it to life in your community!
I received my professional coach training from the highly acclaimed Coaches Training Institute. Coupled with over 20 years of professional experience as well as extensive training from the school of life
, I’m eager to help you move your leadership goals forward.
Looking forward to creating something together - to your leadership legacy!
